The LANDes Experiment
An atmospheric measurement campaign in South West of France forest
SAGE and PC2A laboratories are involved in a measurement campaign organized in South West of France forest (Landes) from June 28th to July 19th 2017.
The LANDes Experiment aims at defining biogenic emission in Landes forest and studying their impact(s) on secondary aerosol formation process. It will bring new insights for Labex CaPPA's WP1.
Researchers have set up OMEGA trailer from SAGE, equipped with three chromatographic analysis channels and a proton transfer mass spectrometer (financed by the CPER CLIMIBIO) in order to carry out a fine measurement of gaseous organic carbon.
The LANDes EXperiment is a collaborative project involving other french laboratories such as :EPOC (U. Bordeaux), IMBE (U. Aix Marseille), INERIS, LA (Observatoire Midi-Pyrénées), LCE (U. Aix Marseille), LISA (U. Paris-Est Créteil & Paris Diderot) and LSCE (U. Versailles Saint Quentin en Yvelines).
It has been financed by the LEFE/CHAT CNRS -INSU program.
