Laboratoire de Physico-Chimie de l'Atmosphère

Research Unit EA 4493 of the University of Littoral Côte d’Opale under contract with the CNRS

The LPCA is based on multidisciplinary research activities both fundamental and applied, focused on the impact of human activities on the environment. Research teams study physico-chemistry mechanisms mainly in the field of air quality. They investigate tropospheric pollution and its dynamic aspects, volatile organic compounds reactivity and their monitoring by spectroscopy, aerosols emissions. Finally they analyze molecular systems with specific inhouse developped materials.
Research activities are organized in three research teams: (1) Dynamics, Modelling and Atmospheric Chemistry, (2) Materials and Emissions, (3) Complex Dynamics and Modelling: analysis of molecular system.
The team "Dynamics, Modelling and Atmospheric Chemistry" is involved in the Labex CaPPA project.

Specific expertise under the Labex project :
Optic materials
Atmospheric chemistry
