Science festival 2017

Every year the Labex CaPPA is involved in the Science Festival event in region. The Sciences festival « fête de la science » is a national event that aims to bring sciences to people at large : actual citizens and future citizens (pupils).
It will be held this year from 7th to 15th october 2017.

Will be presented : a scientific board game, the exhibition « Poussières d’atmosphère », activities on lights properties, measurement instruments of aerosols in the atmosphere.

The public will travel through research activities in region.

  • The dangerous odyssey of a grain of pollen

    Scientific board game
    The fate of a grain of pollen depends on you ! Brave pollution, collect as less pollutants as you can.
    Make sure that your species survive thanks to a new-born tree.    The educational objective is to inform on pollution sources in the atmosphere and on their effects on health and environment.

  • Exhibition « Poussières d’atmosphère »

    It follows scientists in Senegal during the measurement campaign SHADOW.
    A good introduction into the journey of particles in the atmosphere, especially in Africa, and the international environment of scientists.
